Kindergarten Graduation 2023

The Kindergarten Graduation was held on Friday, May 26th, 2023 at XCL ASB Sukhumvit Campus. XCL American School of Bangkok congratulates the Kindergarten Graduating Class of 2023 and wishes them the best of luck on their journey into elementary education.

Commencement Ceremony 2023

XCL American School of Bangkok’s Commencement Ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023.
Forty students graduated from the Sukhumvit. Most of the graduates received university placement overseas and in Thailand, and many of them also received scholarships. XCL ASB Sukhumvit Commencement Class of 2023 has received US$ 4,500,000 worth of scholarships so far, and many more grants are still coming in.
XCL American School of Bangkok expresses warmest gratitude to His Excellency Arman Issetov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Thailand, for giving the keynote speech on the day. The message that he gave to the graduating seniors was very inspirational and will be fondly remembered.

High School Prom

The annual High School Prom was held on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 in the Grand Sindhorn Hall, Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel. It was a beautiful evening attended by XCL ASB administrators, high school students, faculty, and staff. The theme of the prom was “All That Jazz”. Surrounded by a gorgeous setting, charming attendants, fabulous food, and enchanting music, the event was a delightful one for all attendees.

Songkran Festivities

Songkran festivities were held on Thursday, April 6th, 2023. Many students, teachers and staff came to school dressed in beautiful Thai costumes and floral shirts to mark the festival. Events of the day included traditional Thai dances by selected elementary, middle and high school students, and parents. The ceremony ended with the traditional ‘water ritual’ whereby our students poured water on their teachers' and parents’ hands, who in return, gave a little blessing to them. It was a beautiful way to celebrate this Thai festival.

Chinese New Year Celebrations

Chinese New Year celebrations were held on Friday, February 20th, 2023 at XCL ASB Sukhumvit Campus. Students, teachers and parents came beautifully dressed in colorful Chinese national costumes and or red colored outfits to mark the occasion.
Events of the day included a captivating dragon and lion dance, wonderful performances by our students, fabulous games, and cultural stations. We also thank our parents for bringing Chinese food and snacks on the day. XCL American School of Bangkok extend best wishes to all of our families, students, staff and community members for good health, good luck and happiness throughout the year. National Teacher's Day Celebrations

XCL ASB community members celebrated the National Teachers' Appreciation Day (called 'Wai Kru' in Thailand) on Thursday, January 12th, 2023. The event started with a warm welcome by XCL ASB Administrators followed by amazing student speeches dedicated to their teachers. After that, a teacher representative spoke about their love and care for their students. At the end of the ceremony, students presented special gifts to their teachers. It was a beautiful ceremony!

Christmas Activities

Christmas sing-along activities were held on Friday, December 16th, 2022 at XCL ASB Sukhumvit Campus XCL ASB students, teachers, parents and staff wore red, green and white on the day. They gathered at the school soccer field for fun-filled Christmas sing-along activities. After that, Christmas parties were organized in the early years and elementary classrooms. Student councils also organized games and other activities on the day for students to participate in. Eagle House events were also held on the same day. A fun-filled festive day indeed! XCL American School of Bangkok extends warmest seasons’ greetings to everyone for a great and wonderful new year 2023. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

National Father's Day Celebrations

XCL ASB Sukhumvit Campus celebrated the National Father’s Day on Friday, December 2nd, 2022. The event started with beautiful words honoring the Late King Rama IX’s contribution to the nation, and information on the significance of the day, followed by a welcome speech from school administrators. After that student representatives presented speeches dedicated to their fathers. Selected XCL ASB fathers also spoke about fatherhood and love for their children. After that everyone watched lovely video of students with their fathers. The event ended with a heartfelt word of appreciation from the school administrators to the parents who attended the event virtually followed by students wishing their fathers a very Happy Father’s Day!

International Food Fiesta and American Thanksgiving Celebrations

XCL American School of Bangkok Sukhumvit Campus celebrated the American Thanksgiving and also organized the International Food Fiesta on Thursday, November 24th 2022. XCL ASB community members came to school dressed up in beautiful national costumes to mark the event. Parents contributed towards the Thanksgiving meal prepared by the school, and also brought other traditional food and desserts of their countries. The day also included performances by our students and teachers.
We thank everyone for their contribution towards the event. A truly beautiful day indeed!
