Meet XCL ASB’s Nursery 1 Homeroom Teacher, Ms. Gigi Shingala. This is her 2nd year at XCL American School of Bangkok.
‘This is my second year at XCL ASB, and I’m currently completing my Master’s degree in Special Education. All of my teaching career has been in the Early Years, and I’m so grateful for my role in developing my students’ social-emotional skills and independence during this crucial stage of their development. My teaching philosophy centers on creating an inclusive and accepting learning environment. Our Nursery classroom is carefully designed to foster both independent and collaborative learning, offering diverse opportunities for exploration, including sensory activities, fine motor skill development, science experiments, arts, and crafts, and dramatic play. Through these activities, students learn responsibility and essential life skills. XCL ASB’s focus on project-based learning and diverse activities aligns perfectly with my passion for introducing children to new experiences and learning approaches.’
