‘Leadership and community service are indispensable to each other.’
The National Honor Society (NHS) Induction Ceremony was held at XCL ASB on Monday, September 25th, 2023.
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the United States’ premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.
Thirty-one ASB students pledged for the NHS Chapter this year. They now join a network of over one million students in all 50 states, many U.S. territories, and international schools across the world, and will continue to be actively involved in school activities and community service.
